Sensitive skin type
Sensitive skin type is described as skin with reduced tolerance after the application of skin care products. It presents in a wide variety of ways; stinging, itching, burning, redness, peeling, hives, Four subsets of sensitive skin: acne, rosacea, stinging, allergic.
-
Acne sensitive skin has pimples, clogged pores and cycts.
-
Rosacea occurs when blood vessels dilate and lose their ability to shrink back, skin looks pink/red and has the sensation of warmth and facial flushing.
-
Stinging skin hurts when you put anything on it. This is caused by sensory receptors in the skin reacting to what it has come into contact with.
-
